Διαδικτυακή ενημερωτική εκδήλωση στο πλαίσιο εορτασμού του European Cyber Security Month 2021 (ECSM 2021) διοργανώνει την Τρίτη 18 Οκτωβρίου 2021 και ώρα 10:00 π.μ το Ελληνικό Κέντρο Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου του ΙΤΕ μαζί με την Ελληνική Αρχή Κυβερνοασφάλειας του Υπουργείου Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης, ως επίσημοι εκπρόσωποι της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης στην Ελλάδα για τη εκστρατεία του Ευρωπαϊκού Οργανισμού για την Ασφάλεια Δικτύων και Πληροφοριών- ENISA. Η φετινή εκστρατεία ECSM έχει σχεδιαστεί για την αντιμετώπιση ζητημάτων ασφάλειας που αφορούν την προστασία της καθημερινότητας μας στο διαδίκτυο (Cyber Secure From Home) αλλά και την ενημέρωση των μαθητών σχετικά με το πώς πρέπει να ενεργούν αν και εφόσον πέσουν θύματα απάτης στο διαδίκτυο (First Aid) . Tέλος θα συζητηθούν θέματα που αφορούν τις αναδυόμενες τεχνολογίες (όπως έξυπνα ρολόγια κ.λπ.) και τι πρέπει να προσέχουμε οταν αγοράζουμε τέτοια προϊόντα. Στην εκδήλωση μπορούν να συμμετάσχουν διαδικτυακά τμήματα μαθητών Λυκείου. Ανάλογες εκδηλώσεις θα ακολουθήσουν τους επόμενους μήνες εως τη λήξη του σχολικού έτους.
