We invite teachers to view the materials so that they can talk to their students about age classification and content in video games. And for pupils, we have prepared the PEGI Challenge. Test your pupils' knowledge! Are they game experts and will they correctly assign the labels? SPIDOR and PEGI have prepared a lesson scenario for teachers to raise awareness of game content and responsible use of electronic entertainment. Secondary school students are challenged to assign the correct age classification and content labels, and to understand why a game is assigned to a certain category. The materials have been prepared for teachers of all levels of education with the idea that teachers of younger children will gain knowledge about video games and be able to share this knowledge with their students' parents during meetings. The resource pack includes: 1. a teacher's guide with basic information about PEGI and a link to www.pegi.info and an app in Polish with additional information and the ability to verify answers 2. game covers for the PEGI Challenge 3. PEGI system labels.

How to take care of the security of cashless payments? Read the tips prepared by NASK, CSIRT KNF and CBZC 15 minutes - that's how long it takes to read five short tips on the dangers of digital financial transactions, prepared by the National Research Institute NASK, in cooperation with the CSIRT KNF and the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime. From the perspective of the security of our money, this may be the best invested quarter of an hour. Guides by NASK, CSIRT KNF and CBZC on the basic aspects of financial security of Internet users, especially in the area of non-cash payments, will be systematically published at approximately weekly intervals, and the finale of the whole action is not coincidentally scheduled for November 24, 2023, the so-called Black Friday. - Cashless payments, especially online ones, have permanently entered our lives. Above all, they are fast, convenient, and with common sense and the principle of limited trust, also safe. Before deciding on innovative payment methods, let's check whether the service provider is reliable and whether we can entrust him with our data and finances, advises NASK expert Anna Kwasnik. Each guide consists of a short informational section and a practical advice section, outlining the basic security principles of the issues discussed. Five main articles (and a summary) will be published, from which we will learn: - How to use online payments safely; - How to keep your e-wallet safe; - What to remember to use payment cards safely; - How to make mobile payments safely; - What are the advantages and risks of biometrically validated payments. - Online security is the foundation of our digital existence, and protecting our data and finances should be a priority. The series of articles we have prepared on cyber security provides key tools and tips to raise awareness of threats and help protect finances. Thanks to them, every reader will learn what to pay attention to when making payments and how to properly complete online transactions," encourages the reader to read the head of CSIRT KNF, Pawel Piekutowski. Publication schedule October 26: Electronic payment services November 3: Electronic wallets November 8: Payment cards November 15: Mobile payments November 22: Biometric payments Cooperation between NASK, CSIRT KNF and CBZC All tutorials will be published both on the website bezpiecznymiesiac.pl, as well as on the services of the CSIRT KNF and CBZC . Equally important elements of the outreach will be posts and infographics posted on the social media of all cooperating entities. They will redirect to the guides, but at the same time will act as standalone knowledge pills within the specific issues discussed. - In recent years, we have seen a marked increase in the popularity of payments by electronic methods. This is a great convenience and convenience, if only during online shopping. However, in order to use them in a safe way, it is worth knowing what threats lurk in the course of their execution. That's why in the coming days, together with NASK and CSIRT KNF, we will publish information and prevention materials on our websites and social media, which we strongly encourage you to read," concludes Assistant Commissioner Marcin Zagórski of the Press Team of the Central Office for Combating Cybercrime. Awareness and knowledge of the risks associated with electronic payments are the key, and at the same time the most effective, foundations for defense against cyber attacks. The area of finance and payments is particularly at risk in this regard, since it is the theft of our money that is the ultimate goal of cybercriminals, even if at earlier stages they lead "only" to phishing or other malicious activities. From this perspective, the answer to the question of whether it's worth spending a total of about 15 minutes (at a standard reading rate of 200 words per minute) to explore the published guides seems obvious. This could be a quarter of an hour that will save us from very serious financial losses, including even the loss of a lifetime's savings. A truly well-invested quarter of an hour.
