Driven by new rules from the US administration regarding security aspects for telecom equipment, the business of a telecom company and application fields are facing serious impacts. Coupled with the emerging new European industrial policy “Open Strategic Autonomy” and considerations for vendors around openRAN, there are currently many challenges for the sector. Our two sessions will aim to develop a view on the influence from global trade restrictions and constantly emerging cybersecurity challenges on industrial global supply chains.
