XI Spanish Cloud Security Alliance Summit
The Spanish Chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance, an ISMS Forum initiative, is organising its XI Spanish Cloud Security Alliance Summit on Thursday 30 September 2021. This eleventh meeting will focus on the national and transnational regulatory framework, with the new ENS and the NIS Directive as objects of attention; and the European Alliance for Industrial Data and Cloud, a European alliance focused on the role of edge and cloud cybersecurity as infrastructures for the generation and strengthening of European industry. We will also address, with the help of leading experts and professionals, the challenge of business transformation in the post-pandemic environment and the possibilities of re-generation offered by the Cloud in the face of digitalisation by imposition and the virtualisation of work. Finally, the Cloud Security Alliance Spain Chapter will present the fourth version of the Cloud Control Matrix (CCM v4), and the conclusions of the traditional Study on the State of Cloud Security 2021.

Free Online Cybersecurity Course for Small Businesses
Small and medium-size enterprises represent almost 50 % of all cyber attack victims. Many small businesses believe they are "too small to be a target", which is why they often do not have proper cybersecurity measures in place. On top of that, the employees usually lack the knowledge and skills that would help them recognize (and prevent) cyber attacks. To help improve the level of cybersecurity in small and medium-sized enterprises, we have designed a free online cybersecurity course "Varni v pisarni" (Safe at the office)! The video course comprises of 4 modules, each of them directed towards a specific job position.

Interinstitutional kick-off event for European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM)
This October marks the 8th edition of the EU’s European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM), an initiative promoting online security and raising awareness about cybersecurity among EU citizens. On 29 September, for the fourth time the EU institutions, bodies and agencies (EUIBAs) will get together virtually to kick off this important campaign ahead of the official launch the following day (#CyberSecMonth, @CyberSecMonth). This year the ECA has the honour of co-hosting the event with the European Commission. Bringing together key cybersecurity experts from the EU institutions and their peers in Luxembourg society, the two institutions have prepared a rich programme. Some of the highlights of the day include: - the important role of women in reinforcing the cybersecurity stance of our organisations and helping to fill the current skills gap in the field; - presentation of ECSM 2021 and the activities planned by the main organisers (ENISA and Commission), with a focus on Luxembourg; - how common binding rules for baseline security measures at all EUIBAs will prepare them to face increasing cyber threats; - some good practices which EUIBAs have successfully implemented to strengthen their cybersecurity and resilience.
