Webinar Ciberseguridad a tu alcance: evita fraudes y amenazas digitales
La Generalitat Valenciana, en el marco del Mes Europeo de la Ciberseguridad (ECSM), conmemora este año el 18 aniversario del Centro de Seguridad TIC de la Comunitat Valenciana (CSIRT-CV) con la organización de una sesión de formación en ciberseguridad, on-line y gratuita, para toda la ciudadanía. La sesión de formación se retransmitirá en directo el próximo 30 de octubre a las 13:00 horas a través del canal de YouTube de CSIRT-CV (https://www.youtube.com/@csirt-cv6271). La orientación del webinar será eminentemente práctica, con el objetivo de dar a conocer a los participantes cuáles son los comportamientos que les ponen en riesgo y cómo reconocer y gestionar las amenazas. El taller persigue incrementar el nivel de concienciación en ciberseguridad con el que cuenta la ciudadanía en general y mejorar la actitud de las personas hacia su adecuada gestión en el día a día. Además, se expondrán y analizarán casos reales de uso y abuso de la tecnología y sus consecuencias, tanto en el ámbito personal como en el corporativo. Entre otras, se abordarán cuestiones como el phishing y el vishing o cómo evitar el robo de información y la infección de equipos mediante el engaño por correo electrónico o llamada telefónica; el QR jacking y la infección mediante códigos QR; cómo proteger la identidad digital y las credenciales; los riesgos asociados al Internet de las Cosas (IoT) o a la domótica; y los riesgos asociados a las noticias falsas y a los deepfake que utilizan inteligencia artificial. ¡Os esperamos!

Workshop: Disinformation and Fake News
On the occasion of European Cybersecurity Month, Europe Direct Korčula, in cooperation with ADMO – the Adriatic Digital Media Observatory of the University of Dubrovnik, is organizing an interactive workshop entitled "Disinformation and Fake News", which will be held on 30 October 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Ivan Vidali City Library in Korčula. The workshop will be led by Prof. Dr. Mato Brautović, Croatia’s leading expert in the field of disinformation and media literacy, coordinator of the ADMO (Adria Digital Media Observatory) hub, and Vice-Rector for Internationalization, Public Relations, and Student Affairs at the University of Dubrovnik. The workshop will address the dangers of disinformation, methods of recognizing it, and practical steps on how to report or stop its spread. Participants will gain insight into real-life examples of fake news and learn effective methods of exposing them.
