ONIF a Bari: dieci anni di informatica forense e un futuro da scrivere
ONIF Seminar Bari 2025 – October 17, 2025 On Friday, October 17, 2025, the reference event for experts in forensic IT, cybersecurity, and legal informatics returns to Bari, Italy. Organized by the National Observatory for Forensic IT (ONIF), this event reaches its 9th edition, hosted in the prestigious setting of Villa De Grecis. The seminar brings together law enforcement officers, legal experts, technical consultants, institutional figures, and professionals from the forensic IT and cybersecurity fields. The day features a series of in-depth talks, debates, and presentations focused on the latest topics and innovations in digital forensics and cybersecurity. A highlight of the event will be the presentation of the latest ONIF survey on the forensic IT profession, conducted ten years after the initial study. This seminar offers a unique opportunity for networking, professional development, and discussion about current challenges and future trends in forensic informatics. Anhand von verschiedenen – im Internet frei verfügbaren – Tools erkunden wir die eigenen Spuren im Internet. Davon ausgehend diskutieren wir, welche Bedeutung dieser digitale Fußabdruck haben könnte und suchen gegebenenfalls auch nach Möglichkeiten, nachteilige Spuren möglichst wieder los zu werden. Die Veranstaltung wird durch die gemeinsame Kooperation der Arbeiterkammern Burgenland und Niederösterreich finanziell unterstützt. With its first edition in 2018, CyberDay.lu provides useful information on existing actual threats in the world of cybersecurity thanks to speeches and feedbacks from professionals in the field acting on the Luxembourg soil. WEB SERIE WE ARE FEARLESS - VIDEO "COME PESCI NELLA RETE"
For Cybersecurity Month, Generazioni Connesse is highlighting Season 4 of its web series “We Are Fearless”, created to raise awareness among upper secondary school students about online risks and safe digital behaviors. Among the new episodes, the second — “Come pesci nella rete” (Like Fish in the Net) — focuses on phishing through the story of Ara. Ara is a teenage girl from a wealthy family; her diplomat parents are often absent and try to compensate by giving her expensive gifts and, eventually, a credit card for free use. Alone and with unlimited access to online shopping, Ara shares personal data across the web without realizing it. Advertising algorithms exploit her behavior, while cybercriminals take advantage by sending a phishing email. Ara “takes the bait,” provides her payment details, and ends up with her credit card completely emptied. This episode encourages students to reflect on how easily personal data can be exposed online and how phishing scams can exploit digital habits.
