Security Awareness Day
Date: 24 Oct 2018

Let's have a look at the many facets of security awareness! The event aims at giving some insights into the various possible ways to deal with security awareness while pointing out where to get support and what is most crucial for being successful.

Malware, botnets, phishing ... cybercrime is on the rise. While the IT world has been busy with keeping technology up to speed, the user's needs were left unattended for a long time. Security awareness is supposed to take care, but it's not that simple.

Efficient security awareness campaigns require communication skills and sufficient financial and human resources. Yet, those in charge of security awareness are mostly IT or IT security professionals that lack the required expertise and time.

The talks given at the event shall provide the participants with a broader understanding of security awareness, with ideas and solutions.
