European cooperation in the area of cybercrime training

The training session organized by DIICOT (Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism – Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice) and INM (National Institute for Magistracy) addresses the need of prosecutors and judges to have accurate knowledge of the present methods used in cybercrime investigation, national work procedures but also good practices in bi-lateral cooperation or cooperation with EU institutions.

Description

The training session organized by DIICOT (Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism – Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice) and INM (National Institute for Magistracy) addresses the need of prosecutors and judges to have accurate knowledge of the present methods used in cybercrime investigation, national work procedures but also good practices in bi-lateral cooperation or cooperation with EU institutions.

The activity represents also a follow-up of the project ”European judicial cooperation in the area of Cybercrime”, October 2015- June 2016, co-financed by the European Commission – Justice Programme and coordinated by the CRPE, CJS, NIM, NIJ and DIICOT. The project aimed at contributing to a further development of an European area of justice based on mutual trust and cooperation, with a view to fostering a common legal and judicial culture in Europe.
