Target Audience

Innovation involves conducting classes and workshops using IT tools; Ipad, laptops, multimedia board. During the course of innovation, there will also be visits to VR sessions, as well as to interesting places related to technical and digital innovations. The main goal of the project is: developing digital competences; disseminating knowledge about safety among children and young people and shaping the right attitudes towards threats related to the use of information and communication technologies. Shaping interpersonal and communication skills based on the assumptions of social skills training. Activating students, developing their independence in practical action, taking into account the strengths and limitations of individual children, aimed at acquiring the most important skills necessary from the perspective of adulthood. The justification for the introduction of innovation is the need to equip students with mild intellectual disabilities and autism with knowledge and practical skills in the field of digital and social competences conducive to taking measures to limit the phenomenon of cyberbullying. To date, no program has been developed to target the specific deficits of students with intellectual disabilities and autism, so this program is a pioneering approach to the emerging needs of students with this type of disorder.
