This IDC and Juniper Roundtable will gather a select group of your peers to discuss, around interactive roundtables, the key issues, trends and experiences in exhibiting Digital Trust through next generation security technologies. Digital Trust is an ethereal concept, but you might recognize it when you see it. You’ll certainly know when you’ve lost it. Digital Trust is closely aligned to Digital Transformation, the primary concern of CEOs across EMEA. Businesses depend on the transformative effects of digital innovations like cloud and IoT to help drive business into the third decade of this century. But trust is a fragile entity, as we have seen in several well-publicised incidents in the past two years. Delivering Digital Trust is dependent upon deploying modern security environments. But security estates are under pressure from a dynamic threat landscape, and from regulatory upheaval. Incremental change may not be sufficient: adoption of automation, machine learning and orchestration technologies is increasing as organisations seek to improve efficiency of security operations. Importantly, security must be seen as an enabler of Digital Trust, advancing the organisation towards a state of readiness and preparedness for whatever befalls it. Can we make security more efficient, and more effective, and simpler to manage? How is your security operation enabling Digital Trust, and is your security environment optimizing both effectiveness and efficiency? Can you maintain or enhance Digital Trust in a future that promises an increasingly complex privacy legislation landscape? At this event we will have an umbrella theme of Digital Trust, centered on enabling technologies, but also discussing business practices. Our guests will be encouraged to debate the challenges of obtaining – and retaining – digital trust while delivering digital transformation and keeping the organization secure.
