As IOT is becoming more and more pervasive in everyday life, aspects connected with security, safety and privacy are elements that will become key in order to have a secure and wider diffusion of solutions based in this type of technology. Researchers, industries and final users are more and more interested in integration of IOT solutions in innovative services but in order to be able to deliver them it is important that trust in users is built and compliance to data safety and privacy, is in place. In this area CHARIOT, the consortium is leading innovation actually driven by industrial needs.

The first CHARIOT workshop is being organised for the 11th October 2018, in Rome, Italy. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a state of the art overview of the recent technological developments and applications over industrial IoT security, safety and privacy in research and industry, in an attempt to bring cyber security technological developments closer to the actual industrial end-users and technology adopters. The meeting will be attended by various stakeholders from research, academia, end-users as well as sector experts to enable productive discussions in the area of IoT security and safety.

Participation to this workshop is free of charge but a simple registration is required.
