Description

In the age of digital transformation, there are hardly any processes in companies that are no longer supported by IT. Information technologies dominate our everyday lives and have put us in a certain degree of dependence. In the context of the Cybersecurity Conference, exciting lectures and practical examples from various perspectives will illustrate the dangers this presents and how best to arm oneself and a company against cyber attacks.
Why the Rhine-Neckar region as the venue?
Numerous IT companies are located in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. It is considered the "Silicon Valley" of Germany. A large number of hidden champions, which make Germany one of the countries with the highest exports, have also settled in the region. The concentrated IT competence at the location, which unites three federal states (Baden-Württemberg, Hessen and Rhineland-Palatinate), together with the economic strength of the local companies, is virtually predestined to counteract the increasing cybercrime. By pooling the knowledge of regional experts from business, science and the public, we want to make our region a pioneer in the field of cybersecurity, protect the valuable assets of our companies and help the inhabitants of the region to make their daily lives more conscious and safer.
