Cyberbulling - webinar

The Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) is conducting a series of webinars for primary school students, focusing on online safety. During these sessions, UKE experts provide key information to young people on how to use the internet safely. Students learn how to create strong and unique passwords to protect their accounts from unauthorized access. UKE also highlights the importance of secure password storage and avoiding the sharing of personal data online. A significant topic is protection against phishing and online scams, which can affect even younger internet users. The webinars also address the dangers of oversharing information on social media and ways to recognize fake messages and suspicious links. UKE reminds participants about the role of parents and guardians in monitoring children's online activities and the importance of open communication when encountering issues online. Students also learn about the importance of using legal sources of digital content and avoiding piracy. Additionally, UKE experts emphasize the importance of responsible online behavior, including respect for other users and avoiding cyberbullying. The goal of these webinars is not only to educate but also to foster conscious habits in using the internet, enabling young users to enjoy its resources safely. Dates: 2.10.2024 18.09.2024 27.11.2024
