My website is hacked - How not to be hijacked by a Fake Shop
Finding hacked websites which are misused to redirect to a fake Online Shop is the aim of the INSPECTION project. Within this project, that is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, we collected frequently asked questions, like "What is the goal of the hackers?", "How can I see if my website is hijacked?" or "What do I have to do if I detect such a manipulation on my website?".
With this project we would like website owner to become aware of the problem. Having tons of results in the Google search is not always profitable - especially if most of them redirect to fake pharmacies or other suspicious online shops. Instead, loss of reputation and even legal consequences are the yield.
