The Digital Services Department at the General Secretariat of the Council will host the interinstitutional kickoff event of this year's European Cybersecurity Month on 27 September 2022 from 9:30 to 12:30. A high-level panel discussion will take place on the latest trends and strategies to promote and strengthen cybersecurity in the EU institutions and across the EU. The goal is to advance dialogue and cooperation in the EU institutions' fight against cyber threats, and to promote the interinstitutional debate on cybersecurity against the background of ongoing negotiations on the Cybersecurity Regulation. The second discussion panel will focus on cybersecurity awareness inside the EU institutions, bodies and agencies, staff's cyber savviness and the role they play in making the EU institutions more cybersecure.
