Strategic IT security issues and their impact on public safety solutions

Fraunhofer Academy

Public security IT systems and critical infrastructures require special attention in IT security. Current trends must be observed in order to adapt the strategies for the development, operation and management of IT systems to the current state of the art. Regulated by the IT Security Act, these structures must pass a security audit every two years. In addition, the requirements of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation must be implemented by May 2018.
